PARTY this Saturday...

I realize that I just posted a while ago (as a comment to Britt's first post), but I want to post again in case I do not have a chance later today.

First of all~ WELCOME Comrade BRITT to the blog! Woo hoo! Glad you could finally join us... it was getting cold and lonely without our 4th comrade... And the lively banter was just not quite the same without you. What do you think about the background? Do you (all) like the green? Should I test another? Britt! You missed the beautiful pink we had for awhile when I first got this one up and running...

OK... where to start? MEGS!!! Did you get a call from Andy Dirksen yesterday??? Yeah he is having a PARTY this Saturday (Saturday July 9th). You should totally be there! (Bring Tedd along, I chatted with Andy and he said that Tedd is totally invited also) Actually ALL are invited... just let Dirk or Mark know so they know about how many people are going to be there. It is starting around 5pm or 6pm. Andy (and Mark Hoffman) are throwing a party, similar to the times when we were still in school (odd to say that) and because of the birthday girl MEGS. He is trying to keep it CSB/SJU 05 class. They are starting off with a BBQ and some socializing and there is talk of going to the St. Joe bars later on at night... BRITT do you really have to go to Chicago this weekend? Can you come back just for Dirk's party on Saturday night? KEELS! Drive down from camp... you know you want to! OK that is my plug for the PARTY that you all are invited to!


Well update on AB and I. AB is working at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, so I have been making trips down to Roch (which is actually only like 1hour from my hometown Albert Lea) and he has been making trips to St. Bens as well. I think I have pretty much seen him every weekend. Amazing now that I think about it... He met most of my Mom's side of the family on the 4th of July at my aunt and uncle's house in Waseca, and he handled it well. That is something I noticed about AB- even though he does not know someone, he treats them like he has known them forever. My aunts (aunt Ann in particular) really likes him I guess. He passed that hurdle but what awaits him on my Dad side of the family is far, far more difficult (my dad has 14 siblings and they all have at least 2 children). So hmm... what else? Oh we finally decided what our 'anniversary' date will be. Silly you say? I also think that, but at the end of the semester as you all know, it was a bit hazy as to what AB and I actually was. I think he thinks we started dating far before I considered us a couple... hmm... I wonder why? BUT we decided May 3rd (the day we went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch a Twins game together during Finals Week) as our date. Things are going well overall for us... it is odd to think though that I have been dating him now for about 3 months though!

Oh also found a place in Madison to live. I will be living at an apartment complex called 'Camelot.' Yeah... really exciting! I am living with a girl that has lived there for 2 years. Her name is Nicole Navis, I met her a couple of weekends ago. She seems nice enough and I think it will work for the time being. Feels weird to say I will be moving there in like a little over a month!

About dates to visit KEELS! I think I read your email correctly, but let me know Keels if these are not days that would work. MEGS & BRITT either the weekend of July 23rd/24th or August 3rd/4th would work for me but I also have to check my schedule at TGI-Fridays (which I just got a job at and am working at for the first time tonight). So actually the weekend of August 17th/18th might be better to shoot for. What do you think? I will definitely check my schedule tonight and figure out what weekend will work best. Sorry to take so long!

KEELS- hope camp is going well! I am glad you are able to post when you do! How are you BFs doing? You have like 3 of them right? Oh wait what about Tom Kain? Are you sure he is 'into' Katie? He might be using her as a cover to talk to you a lot... think about it!

BRITT- sounds like camp is fun! You get to ride horses? I am SO jealous of you! I LOVE riding horses! I am not jealous about the puking though! Yikes! I hope you are feeling better! Oh and have fun in Chicago, but come back for the party on Saturday ok? Why are you going to Chicago, by the way? Visiting a BF???

MEGS (aka soon-to-be-birthday-girl)- hey hun! What is going on? How is life? How is Tedd? I was wondering what you were doing this weekend? Do you (and Tedd) think you would be able to come to the party on Saturday night up here? If not, are you doing anything on Saturday during the day??? I would LOVE to come visit/have lunch/cuddle with you for your birthday! woo hoo! But I understand that you might already have plans/work, so just let me know ok? I will call ok? But do let me know if you can about this coming weekend. I work Friday night and Sunday morning/afternoon, so that is why I say Saturday.

Ok this is far longer than I hoped for but you asked for it! I hope everyone has a super day and will post as much as me cause I miss you all and LOVE to hear all your crazy stories! (even ones I don't get!)
