Ok, totally guys... I did not know plans for Wisconsin were taking shape this past weekend... I am soo sorry, I totally should be reading this more! If you guys seriously considered this, would you have called my cellphone? That is the best way to quickly get ahold of me...
I am not sure if plans are totally 'bust' now that it is past the weekend and you all probably hung out together... I am such a horrible friend I am not even sure I know when you guys are leaving!
Ok if you are not leaving super soon (which I know is a decreasing possibility) for sure this weekend (Sept. 17th -18th) I have NOTHING even remotely to do. I would LOVE visitors...

I am all about Wisconsin!!! Let's go! My mom might kill me though--she was not pleased that I ran off to Keely's camp for a week, so I can't imagine she would be thrilled with my leaving again. But oh well. The only thing I have going on before I leave for China is a trip up north with my brother-but I don't know when we are going. Other than that, I am totally free. So just let me know when would work for you guys. We can't let this fall through--Keels and I are leaving for a whole year--so we'd better be able to see you!!!!!!!!!!

well, i'm back in the cities now, for a couple of weeks at least...and then its off to China. so yeah, we should try to get together or something. Meghan, we are kidnapping you for a night. so we should start thinking of something really fun to do. Hmmm, so britt ended up coming up to camp with me to help out the last week cause we had lost a lot of our staff, so that was pretty cool. And she even did her first naked sauna. Meghan, you would flip...although you have skinny dipped, so maybe you wouldn't. haha, and there are no worms up there too, so you would love it. once i figure out how, i will try to put a few pictures up. PS Tara....ya didn't want to start this whole AB thing before the last week of school?!?!?! silly goose (excuse the word choice, i have been working with 3-4 year olds all summer)

Britt... your blog was amazing! Full of excitement and adventure... I was left breathless by it! I also would like to know why that nice gentleman could not get your panties... panties, what a hilarious word! I am glad you at least helped him out though! Bars in the Cities sound like fun... I wish I could have spent more time (or would have at least taken the time) to explore the downtown/uptown nighttime scene of the Twin Cities... I did more of that sort of thing in Cannes (France) than I ever did in my own state capital... a pity really... Glad to hear you are having so much fun, even though you feel a bit guitly it seems for your adventures! This is the time to do it though cause sadly enough, childhood/college life is rapidly leaving and 'real' life is sadly approaching very fast!

Keels... glad to at least know you are alive... really where is Megs? She even got a new notebook (laptop computer) for heaven sakes! And she cannot even write??? I am glad to hear that you were able to get back to nature so close after your encounter with where dress clothes... relief I suppose. MEGGERS! Seriously you are like a missing person... I know you called me Sunday and I haven't called you back, I am sorry about that. I am working on it... BUT it does seem like your are MIA... and the excuse that you are just too lazy to write or check your mail is not a good excuse! I hope you are doing well though and enjoying your time in Burnsville. And keeping yourself busy since Katie is now at St. Bens. HEY are you and Tedd going to get married soon? When is the date? Or would a better question be- when are you due? Oh wait how is the puppy? I bet he is super cute!

Well my excuse is that I am now in Madison, Wisconsin... a town with a bunch of 'Bucky the Badger' freaks running around... I don't have internet at my apartment, hence why I have not emailed as much. I am working on it though. I am looking at getting a notebook with wireless and getting wireless at my semi-crappy apartment. It really is not that bad, but it could be a little better. My roomie is nice, she took me around and got my photo id (which I look like a huge dork) and also is helping with the bus system here in Madison (which is free if you are a student thankfully!). We pretty much keep to ourselves though... I had my program (Library & Info Science) orientation yesterday so it was a long day with a ton of crap throw at you. Today was a little better but I had Grad school orientation with a bunch of workshops I went to to get acquainted with campus and the library program searches here. Somewhat boring, but also quite useful. Did you know that at the U of W campus there are over 45 libraries? This is true... and crazyingly (is that a word?) amazing. Anywho... I am now sitting in the 'College Library' which caters to undergraduates, but which is also in the same building where my graduate program (School of Library and Information Science or SLIS) is located at. Like I said, I have to do internet here otherwise I would never write.
Living here isn't too bad, except that I am like 4 hours (or more!) away from all of you and it is a boring drive. I will warn you all now about that if you visit. I wish I would have checked this earlier, because I would have tried to get us all together at Labor Day since you (Britt and Keels) are not leaving until later. Shoot! Well perhaps another weekend! I might add that being so far away and not knowing many people here I often get struck with periods of deep saddeness because I miss you all! AB is planning on visiting me this weekend, so that is good. No we are not going to get engaged or married anytime soon. It was fun to go to Florida with him though and see his family. And I was pleasantly surprised that I did not get sick of being around him down there (ok this is a good thing, because often when I would spend longer amounts of time with other guys, I would just get so sick of them and never want to see them for like a week!). Anywho... I think I should be trying to catch the bus back now, and plus this is a super long post. Is anyone else bored yet? But even though I am here, I am really back in Minnesota where people are normal and where all of you are! I do miss you all!
Let me know when or where it might work for us all to get together... I will make it work! Just let's try and plan it ahead of time so I have a good idea what is going on ok? Ok! Email my gmail account. I check that whenever I can...

Ok, so i have decided that Meghan is definatley missing, or something. What the hell. Ok, anyways...wow, Britt, sounds like you are having quite the bar adventures. Haha, and thats funny....so at least someone in CHina will understand when i explain your bar trips. Nothing new at camp really, other than that its still awesome. I just got back from taking the LDPs on trail...literally 30 minutes after arriving back at camp from my cousin's wedding in Duluth...so i went from beign dressed up to camping in a half an hour, it was a good change of pace. Cause did i mention that i hate dressing up. Ummmm, lets see. I think i am stayign at camp till Sept. 4th now, but i am nto leavign for china till later, as Britt said. So yeah.......ok, thats all i have for you, sorry, no funny stories like Britt. And why exactly couldn't you give the guy your underwear.....or do i even want to know.....haha, well i am sure you enjoyed fulfilling the other request much more anyways. K...thats all i got, for real now. Oh yeah....my new favorite line : "Suck it up, Sugar" That works real well with the LDPs. k, bye...i'm gonna go shower

Seeing as no one else posts...

Seeing as no one else posts anymore on this little site of ours, I have decided to take it over. Now that camp is winding down, I am getting more bored--hence the writing.
So my life has taken a turn for the worse lately with a great increase in drinking and a decrease in both running and working. It is sad really when you can see your own life diminish in quality.
I have gone to quite a few concerts lately--including Tim Mahoney(remember him? he came to school?), Epic Hero, and most recently, Flogging Molly (on Harriet Island--for free! yeah freeness). At each of these concerts my intentions have been good, but inevitably I end up drunken and dancing in front of the stage like a big baffoon.
I have also recently checked out the cities bar scene and found some entertainment hidden behind the intimidating exterior. On Friday we headed to First Ave and, Keels--you will find this funny--ended up at Brothers. I was dressed in the frumpiest clothes possible and danced my heart out after 3 jag bombs and some beer. Oh-and guess who I ran into at Brothers? Definitely Adam Wolfe--a fellow China-goer. I felt like a bumbling idiot as I tried to explain how worried I was about the whole China situation and I have no idea if he could understand my slurred sentences, but he sure was nice and nodded a lot! I am thinking he's going to be a good trip-mate. And I had one other exciting encounter that night-with a man who was getting married the next day. It was his bachler party and he had a checklist on his chest of all the things he needed before he could be married and the only two that hadn't been checked off were "get a pair of women's panties" and "kiss a woman". Well, I couldn't fulfill the first request (for reasons that shall go unexplained), so I just HAD to kiss the guy. Rough. Very rough. Did I mention he was totally cute??
Alright, that's all I got for this episode of "Britt's pathetic, alcoholic life". Fear not however, cause Wednesday night at Sally's is always an adventure--its ladies night and chicks drink free. So if anybody is free on wednesday night, feel free to join us--its a lot of fun!
Im outta here now--If anyone has anything substantial to talk about (like you Tara--are you engaged yet? and when do you leave for school?--or you Keels--boys at camp???? and when do you come home? or you Megs--im not expecting much, just a sign that you are alive??).
I hope you are all having a wonderful time and I hope to see you soon. Oh yeah--tara--I dont know if you heard, but I dont think keels and I are leaving until the end of sept., so if you have some time off sometime--I would love to see you!!!

Actually this turned out to be one of the worst weekends to ask off- there is 'WE Fest' and also the Benton County fair this weekend... damn hillbillies need a whole frickin' weekend off which prevents me from getting off... Well I put in my two weeks there anyways... I hope you both have a stellar day and I think we should do some investigating to see if Megs is still alive...

Do we try and do it during the week? I would be able to do it anytime between Monday Aug 15th- Friday Aug 19th. OR Thursday Aug 25th- Friday Aug 26th. If Britt cannot do it anytime after Aug 14th I will be unable to do it during the week, as noted by the above dates, unfortunately...

And as much and I don't want to say this- if it works out better for me not to go because I cannot get off during the week, I guess I can deal with it and not go... but I would cry and pout and wish I was there the whole time!
So I am not sure what you guys are thinking... just trying to figure things out especially because I have to deal with moving in at Madison and quiting TGIFridays... yippy.

Yeah YMCA camps!

So I'm not gonna lie, this blogging thing is not quite as exciting as getting tons of emails that fill my inbox. Tear.
Nonetheless, I love you guys.
My weekend situation is weird. I don't finish work until 6 or 7ish on Fridays and I am supposed to be back at 11am on Sundays. For those of you keeping track, that gives me about 40 hours to drive to DuNord, chill, canoe, be the maid of honor at Keely's and Tom Kain's wedding, and drive back. Now that obviously seems a bit unreasonable. However, the weeks that I lifeguard (which in general I get to choose--except next week, during which I must counsel), I can usually ask to get off early and I can sometimes skip Sundays altogether. So this is what I am going to say...
I can go any weekend as long as I have enough time in advance to tell my boss that I can't counsel. Does any of this make sense? So in sum, I can go any weekend except this weekend. Oh yeah, and also my mom's birthday is August 14th, so I can't go then either.
Ummm...and anytime after August 14th I will be at camp so I can't go.
Ok, so now that I have been clear about my schedule for the next few weeks, I will leave.

This is my weekend situation:

Sat/Sun July 23/24 = not working
Sat/Sun July 30/31 = don't know if working or not
Sat/Sun Aug 6/7 = don't know if working or not
Sat Aug 13 = Wedding (but could skip it) Sun Aug 14= nothing
Sat/Sun Aug 20/21 = might be moving in at Madison
Sat/Sun Aug 27/28 = weekend before classes start but it could work to still visit

I am done at my internship on Fri Aug 12, but even though I am done there and will not be moving to Madison until later, I will still be at CSB because I will probably be working at TGIFridays. I plan have my last day at TGIF on Fri Aug 19.
(Keels- there is no weekend of Aug 17/18... when are you going home?)

What weekends look good for people? What weekdays look good for people after Aug 12? I could possible try and get time off during the week if that works better (after Aug 12). Should we consider that? Let me know what others are thinking...

Woo Hoo, you guys should really come visit!! The weekend of AUg 17th/18th probably woudl not be the best..cause i think that is the weekend i am comming home. Ang AUg 3rd/4th isn't a weekend (but i assume you are talking abotu the 5th/6th) so yeah, either of the other two would be great! This is the coolest week of campers ever...they are all just really cool. And yeah, camp is good. My sister is up here right now as an LDP...so i get to be in charge of her, which is kinda fun. ha, cause she actually has to listen to me. ummmm, yeha, ok, i gotta go. miss you all. and you should all send me letters in the real mail.

I realize that I just posted a while ago (as a comment to Britt's first post), but I want to post again in case I do not have a chance later today.

First of all~ WELCOME Comrade BRITT to the blog! Woo hoo! Glad you could finally join us... it was getting cold and lonely without our 4th comrade... And the lively banter was just not quite the same without you. What do you think about the background? Do you (all) like the green? Should I test another? Britt! You missed the beautiful pink we had for awhile when I first got this one up and running...

OK... where to start? MEGS!!! Did you get a call from Andy Dirksen yesterday??? Yeah he is having a PARTY this Saturday (Saturday July 9th). You should totally be there! (Bring Tedd along, I chatted with Andy and he said that Tedd is totally invited also) Actually ALL are invited... just let Dirk or Mark know so they know about how many people are going to be there. It is starting around 5pm or 6pm. Andy (and Mark Hoffman) are throwing a party, similar to the times when we were still in school (odd to say that) and because of the birthday girl MEGS. He is trying to keep it CSB/SJU 05 class. They are starting off with a BBQ and some socializing and there is talk of going to the St. Joe bars later on at night... BRITT do you really have to go to Chicago this weekend? Can you come back just for Dirk's party on Saturday night? KEELS! Drive down from camp... you know you want to! OK that is my plug for the PARTY that you all are invited to!


Well update on AB and I. AB is working at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, so I have been making trips down to Roch (which is actually only like 1hour from my hometown Albert Lea) and he has been making trips to St. Bens as well. I think I have pretty much seen him every weekend. Amazing now that I think about it... He met most of my Mom's side of the family on the 4th of July at my aunt and uncle's house in Waseca, and he handled it well. That is something I noticed about AB- even though he does not know someone, he treats them like he has known them forever. My aunts (aunt Ann in particular) really likes him I guess. He passed that hurdle but what awaits him on my Dad side of the family is far, far more difficult (my dad has 14 siblings and they all have at least 2 children). So hmm... what else? Oh we finally decided what our 'anniversary' date will be. Silly you say? I also think that, but at the end of the semester as you all know, it was a bit hazy as to what AB and I actually was. I think he thinks we started dating far before I considered us a couple... hmm... I wonder why? BUT we decided May 3rd (the day we went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch a Twins game together during Finals Week) as our date. Things are going well overall for us... it is odd to think though that I have been dating him now for about 3 months though!

Oh also found a place in Madison to live. I will be living at an apartment complex called 'Camelot.' Yeah... really exciting! I am living with a girl that has lived there for 2 years. Her name is Nicole Navis, I met her a couple of weekends ago. She seems nice enough and I think it will work for the time being. Feels weird to say I will be moving there in like a little over a month!

About dates to visit KEELS! I think I read your email correctly, but let me know Keels if these are not days that would work. MEGS & BRITT either the weekend of July 23rd/24th or August 3rd/4th would work for me but I also have to check my schedule at TGI-Fridays (which I just got a job at and am working at for the first time tonight). So actually the weekend of August 17th/18th might be better to shoot for. What do you think? I will definitely check my schedule tonight and figure out what weekend will work best. Sorry to take so long!

KEELS- hope camp is going well! I am glad you are able to post when you do! How are you BFs doing? You have like 3 of them right? Oh wait what about Tom Kain? Are you sure he is 'into' Katie? He might be using her as a cover to talk to you a lot... think about it!

BRITT- sounds like camp is fun! You get to ride horses? I am SO jealous of you! I LOVE riding horses! I am not jealous about the puking though! Yikes! I hope you are feeling better! Fret No Longer!

Fear no longer ladies of my revolution. I have come back from the dead! Actually, I was waiting to see if you guys were gonna be picked up by the Feds before I attached my name to this site. But I have decided that if you guys go to jail, I will have nothing to live for, so I may as well go down with you.
For real though, sorry about the whole not writing thing. Camp has recently taken over my life and we have no internet. I have been living there most of the time and when I come home, it is only to do some much needed errands and then to head back to camp.
So hmmmm...what have you missed in my life? Well, there has been a whole lot of kayaking, some swimming, ummm...a hell child with severe ADHD, a bucking horse (my tailbone still hurts!), a midnight evacuation of my campers from trail, 2 days throwing up (legit sickness!), many drinking excursions, a few nights where I was high as a kite, and thats about that.
This week is pretty sweet. I am living at home right now cause I am leaving on Friday to go to Chicago. I think I'm gonna be in Chi-town for about a week and then I come back here for some more camp fun! Ye haw! I am going to be totally worn out in about a week. Man oh man.
So how bout you guys? I have gotten to read a bit about your lives, but I feel totally out of the loop. What did everybody do for the fourth? (I was in my bed puking my guts out, fyi.) And the boy situation...I want details...Even you, Keely.
Ok, I have to go eat dinner now cause otherwise I'm going to knaw off my arm but I promise to be better at this posting thing now.

I am hitting in the student worker area, pretending that I am scanning images for Tim my supervisor for some CD he wants done. I am so glad he does not know technology well. Of course this might be a mindless task for an intern, but on a day like today I am glad to do something mindless. Enough bitch'n!

PINK is a wonderful color and truly shows our 'political' colors...
Good question though Megs about the FBI... perhaps that is why Miss Cecconi has not joined us yet? And for the reason that the FBI must now be viewing all of this, even though we are about most pure and wholesome Minnesota girls you could find.

We are pink because we are not quite red... On a spectrum crossing economics and colors, if Communism is red and capitalism is white (while I don't know that it is, I am just making it up for my analogy), we are wonderful, beautiful PINK (yeah, I know, that's purple...)...

Well to answer your message Keels... the blog is PINK because it is as close as I could get to RED (commie red that is...) and us being all girlies girls (tehehe) I thought this would go awesomely with our theme of REVOLUTION! Plus aren't their different kinds of REVOLUTIONS? Like the purple or the velvet REVOLUTIONS? So... ours can be the CHE/PINK REVOLUTION! woo hoo!
